haveli home: new, reclaimed, recycled and vintage furniture, home accessories and textiles from the Indian subcontinent.
What does our name mean? haveli refers to medieval Hindu courtyard homes belonging to nobles who served the Rajput rulers of northwestern India. These richly decorated rambling households were built in the Hindu traditions of Vastu (dwelling) and Vidya (science), which is to connect the individual body to the home and the home to the cosmos. The haveli offered a place of security and comfort in rhythm with the season and nature. | | haveli home is located in the historic Liberty Village district of downtown Toronto at 171 east Liberty St. suite 113 (entrance off Hanna Ave.) can we offer you a map?Hours: Monday by appt only
